Takashi Yamazaki's mouth harp innovations are unparalleled. Who hasn't thought that it would be great to be able to play a jaw harp one-handed? At least those of us whose hands just don't want to hold the instrument after a decent amount of playing time and urgently need a break. The Yamatake (mountain mushroom) is a very versatile instrument, playable with one hand, even if it takes some getting used to, both on the lips rather percussive and on the teeth with a long swinging reed.
