We have never heard jaw harps like this before. This album gives the auditorium an extremely carefully constructed and designed sound architecture. Excellent played, sung and realized. Tears of joy can hardly be stopped at one or the other pair of eyes belonging to the pair of ears listening. Each track contains the jaw harps, each tune is unique in its sound.
Cätlin makes full use of the technical possibilities - both in terms of playing techniques and the use of electronic devices and recording technology - without sounding exaggerated or artificial. Her experiences as a folk multi-instrumentalist and singer are used on this album on about 50 different Jaw Harps in a playful contemporary way.
