Unfortunately, this Jaw Harp is no longer available and can not be supplied anymore. Since most Jaw Harps are handmade by individual craftsmen, it happens time and again that instruments disappear from the market when they are no longer produced.
But because it would be a shame to let this treasure of knowledge simply disappear into the digital afterlife, we have listed these Jaw Harps in our Jaw Harp Archive

The Jaw Harp Couple "Chang Qobyz Birlik" is a unique rarity from Uzbekistan and combines jaw harp forging with deep spirituality. Unimpressed by contemporary gender issues, the Uzbek artist has created two Jaw Harps representing the "female" and the "male" principles. If you like - two lovers who complement each other and thus reach perfection. Both Chang Qobyz seem simple and unspectacular at first glance. But when you release them from their boxes, you feel and see their discreet and powerful beauty. Not only do they lie wonderfully in the hand, but they also have a brilliant sound. While the one sounds very dreamy and introverted, you can enjoy the dynamic and rather extroverted playing with the counterpart.
The elaborately designed wooden covers of the two jaw harps represent a bearded man on the one hand and a long-haired woman on the other. If one stows a Birlik in the "woman's case", the jaw harp reed points to the earth, while the "man's" tongue points to the sky or the sun.
