The flat shape of this shaker makes it suitable for nuanced playing. The sound can be modulated beautifully by using pressure on the flat playing surfaces. The shakers are made in a small German workshop and are filled with hardened steel beads.

The square pad shaker is well-suited for a wide range of uses because of its clever interior design. Shaken, turned, struck with hands or mallets, the flat shaker pad can sound like a big shaker, an ocean drum, a raft-rattle or a drum pad with snare and bass effects!
