Traditional bamboo Jaw Harp of the Khasi minority from Meghalaya (India). Among the matrilineal people in northeast India this Jaw Harp, called ka mieng, is played at dance events. Each Khasi Jaw Harp is handmade and therefore a unique piece in slightly different designs. Its construction is simple, as well as its sound. Very rare collector's item!
