High-grade Jaw Harp from Yakutia (Russia)

Master blacksmith Komissarov made this classic Yakut Khomus, which convinces by its traditional form, its simple design and its beautiful, deep sound. With various breathing techniques the relatively hard tongue can easily be set into swinging, transfering its vibration wonderfully to the body. It is particularly beautiful to produce clearly defined guttural sounds and to twirl like a bird. This is a real pleasure.
The practical and shapely wooden box is included.
