This Jaw Harp from the workshop of Takashi Yamazaki is the replica of a 1000-year-old Jaw Harp, which was excavated several years ago in the Omiya ward in Saitama (north of Tokyo) during construction.

Like all Yamazaki's mouth harps, even this rather small model can be played wonderfully. The tongue's hardness is balanced and the sound rich in overtones. This Jaw Harp just makes you happy.

There are two models: one has a shiny steel frame, the other one has a matte oxidized steel frame.
