Our SuSu
You can produce the most incredible sounds with the small membrane that is glued between the two bamboo parts and vibrates when you blow on it. With the small voice effect whistle, you can not only imitate birds, but also create similarly varied sounds as with a kazoo.
Playing techniques
You can elicit simple sounds from the SuSu by placing the side on which you see the membrane between your lips and blowing on it. If you then blow over the small effect whistle, funny chattering noises are heard. It gets even more exciting when you put the SuSu on the back of your tongue and lift it against the palate. This way you can whistle, trumpet, laugh, speak, warble with your tongue or anything else you can think of. And the highlight? No one can see the tiny whistle.
