Originally, this loud clicker was developed for the air landing of the Allies of World War II at D-Day on June 6, 1944 and was manufactured under highest secrecy by J Hudson & Co. in Birmingham.
If you were behind enemy lines at night, you were "asked" for allies with a "click" and answered positively with a "double click". For security reasons, the use of the clicker was limited to 24 hours.
Later, this effect was often copied and found its way into many areas. As a sound effect, as a children's toy (e.g. as a "crackling frog") or for clicker training with dogs.
The extraordinary quality of this original was never reached and so we are happy to be able to offer you this assertive original clicker in best English quality.
