This delicate sounding shell mobile consists of sustainably produced Capiz shells (windowpane oyster). Due to their transparent, translucent properties, interest in these oysters has increased dramatically in recent years, which has led to a sharp decline in their population. In order to preserve the ecosystem, the small plates of this wind chime were pressed and shaped from shell fragments and remains. This sustainable production method does not impair the quality of the shell mobile and so you can listen to the gentle sound of the mobile in a light breeze.

The approximately 5 cm round shell platelets are arranged on 11 cords.
