The wistful yet romantic melody by Rachmaninov sounds when you press the small music box. The Rhapsody on a Theme by Paganini, composed by the Russian composer Sergei Rachmaninov in 1934, sounds tender and full of emotion. It was used in various film productions, such as Somewhere in Time or The Walking Dead, and became very well known.

You can modulate the volume of the emotional melody wonderfully. If you press the music box lightly onto a larger resonance chamber, the melody will immediately sound much louder. Tables, chairs, boxes or cajons are suitable as resonating bodies. If you unpack the small musical mechanism, you can enjoy the sound particularly intensely.
