Jaw Harp from Brazil
Choose tax zone / country of delivery
These Jaw Harps from Brazil, which is very unusual, are made by the young blacksmith Eduardo near São Paulo. One can hardly believe that Eduardo taught himself the art of blacksmithing. Because his Berimbau de Boca Brazil, as they are called in Portuguese, are wonderful and high-quality instruments. With the Munnharpa Brasiliana the Brazilian blacksmith has revived the Jaw Harp tradition of Norway and he has succeeded in doing so magnificently. The good workmanship and the polished, smooth surface is very pleasant to touch. This Jaw Harp feels good in the hand. Its tongue is fixed in the frame in the style of a Norwegian Munnharpa. It is also nice and tight, which makes it especially good for playing fast, dynamic rhythms. It responds well to playing techniques with the tongue and throat, which makes it very versatile. Its sound is soft and playful, yet loud and clear.
The scope of delivery includes an individual cover that fits perfectly to the shape of the Munnharpa and has a smart locking mechanism.
