Phons Bakx (Netherlands) plays finest Jaw Harp compositions together with musicians of several countries.
From time to time you can hear other instruments, too. But the Jaw Harp stays always in the foreground of this mostly frisky music. This album is a collection of Jaw Harp sessions on various events - light, lively and full of joie de vivre.
A unique delicacy is a recording from New Guinea. A Sago beetle attached to a culm of grass is buzzing in front of the open mouth of the musician as some kind of "alternative Jaw Harp". An unbelievable and rare recording as well.
