Unfortunately, this Jaw Harp is no longer available and can not be supplied anymore. Since most Jaw Harps are handmade by individual craftsmen, it happens time and again that instruments disappear from the market when they are no longer produced.
But because it would be a shame to let this treasure of knowledge simply disappear into the digital afterlife, we have listed these Jaw Harps in our Jaw Harp Archive

South of Jakutsk, in a small village near the Lena river, Khristoforov forges traditional Yakutian jaw harps, such as the Khomus Khristoforov Large. The fine harmonics of this jaw harp are vibrantly transmitted to the whole body and quickly lead into trance-like conditions. In this way one can sense and feel the thrilling power of the old shamanic rituals. The slow, meditative play unfolds particularly beautifully. Its tautt, sharpened reed is easy to pluck and sounds well balanced. Khristoforov concentrated on the sound when forging, while the frame was kept rather simple.
Convincing Khomus with tradition!
Including light wooden case.
