Unfortunately, this Jaw Harp is no longer available and can not be supplied anymore. Since most Jaw Harps are handmade by individual craftsmen, it happens time and again that instruments disappear from the market when they are no longer produced.
But because it would be a shame to let this treasure of knowledge simply disappear into the digital afterlife, we have listed these Jaw Harps in our Jaw Harp Archive

This gorgeous Jaw Harp is a masterpiece of Japanese blacksmithing. This Kohkin (Japanese: Mouth Harp) is being handforged by master blacksmith Metsugi near Tokyo who is popular in Japan for his first-class knife and tool blades.
This Kohkin is the so to say the Katana among the Jaw Harps in our collection. Her precise playability is just amazing. She is wonderfully well balanced - soft and taut at the same time. Additionally this Jaw Harp has a very wide range of harmonics. The reeds vibration last relatively long, but can easily be regulated or stopped.
The wonderful box made of Paulownia wood and a red fabric cushion is being manufactured by another craftswork master. It gives the Kohkin its deserving frame.
Attention: Due to the disadvantageous currency exchange rate we were unfortunately forced to adjust the price accordingly.
