This is the top model from the traditional jaw harp manufactory Wimmer-Bades in Molln (Upper Austria), where jaw harps are already produced in the twelfth generation.

Each of these burnished jaw harps is traditionally hand-forged and cleanly tuned. The classic frame shape is typical of high-quality jaw harps from Molln.

It is easy to hold and play. The finish is pleasant on the teeth. The sound of these jaw harps can best be described as compact and clear. Modulations are rendered in great detail. The reed resonates rather medium-short.

Each Wimmer-Bades Special is delivered in a small "treasure box".
